Our carrier system is a Quadrocopter, a light and extremely robust carbon made flying robot with four rotors. It is capable of vertical takeoff and landing and was especially designed for applications in the areas of coordination, documentation, exploration, survey, inspection and observation.

Contrary to the conventional aerial photography via airplanes the Quadrocopter allows not only the portrayal of specific objects in regard to the surrounding area but also a flight very close and vertical along objects. Obtaining detailed information (e.g. the maintenance of pylons) is no longer a problem.

Depending on configuration and environmental conditions the Quadrocopter can fly up to 80 minutes on one battery. A downlink decoder delivers data like condition of the battery, height, position, duration of the flight and the number of satellites who’s signals can be received by the basis station.
